Everything has started with Karl Moik who was invited to the Mariandl in Elisabethszell by Stefan's father in 1992. Music had also been a part in the Mariandl but just held in a small space with
a limited audience. But this visit has changed everything – no one has expected that. In the last 25 years a lot of stars from the „Schlager“ (German music) and folk music scene have given a
performance on the stage of our hotel. Many of them have kept faith with us until today and have been happy to be close to their fans at our star nights for some years. Among them, Anita and
Alexandra Hofmann, Marc Pircher, Stefan Mross, Anna-Carina Woitschak - meanwhile a couple, Monika Martin, Francine Jordi, the Ladiner, Andy Borg, the band Wind, the Schäfer, Sigrid and
Marina, Monique, the Geschwister Wolf, the Wildecker Herzbuben, the Zillertaler, the Jungen Zillertaler, the Feldberger, Oswald Sattler, the Stimmen der Berge, Hansi Vogt alias Frau Wäber, Heiko
Harig and many more.
Stars to „touch“ - something we offer at the Mariandl.
Many stars from the „Schlager“ (German music) and folk music scene guest at weekly star nights at the Mariandl from October till April.
Besides many stars of the music scene there are also a lot of VIP guests from politics and sports who have been welcomed to our hotel. The list has also been endless in the meantime. Helmut Kohl
and Roman Herzog, Theo Waigel with his wife Irene Waigel-Epple, Horst Seehofer, Norbert Lammert, Theo Zellner as well as local politicians are regular guests. We could welcome sport stars as
Michael Ballack, Owen Hargreaves, Sepp Maier, Karl-Heinz Förster, Gerd Drunschka, Jürgen Hingsen and Walter Röhrl too. Even star chef Alfons Schuhbeck belongs to our prominent guests.
Our music hotel is characterized by a mixture of culinary delight, best musical entertainment, a great experience program and a modern spa and beauty offer.
Music runs in Stefan's blood and his enthusiasm to perform in front of an audience is successful with „Stefan und den Aufdrehern“. Several CDs and meanwhile performances in entire Germany and in
some European countries speak for themselves.
